Yesterday I was fortunate enough to celebrate 26 years of training in Seido Karate. Fortunate not just because of the amazing relationships I have built over that time, but because I got to celebrate my anniversary by sweating on the floor with everyone else. My son’s name is Alistair Merkenich. He trained at your Five Dock training centre. One time at the end of the term, they have like a graduation day. I mixed up the date and we turned up a day late. When we were told that we missed it, Alistair was so heart broken and it must have shown on his face because you accommodated us. You took sometime to talk to him. That i think uplifted his spirits. It cheered him up. He trained for 2 terms at your centre because we relocated to another suburb which is far from Five Dock. I thank you very much for the kindness you’ve shown to us.
