Greetings, it gives me great pleasure to write to you in regards to assistance in a jersey kit.
My name is Mr Vagi sarwom, I write on behalf of a suburb local rugby league club Valeni Kings in Port Moresby Papua New Guinea.
Reading online we have learnt that your organisation have assisted clubs with a rugby jersey kits (new/used). This have brought to our attention to write and kindly seek assistance or direction to an organisation that can assist us.
Our club is a rugby league club that plays rugby league nines here in Port Moresby PNG. Our club is made up of youths from the suburb of Hohola. We came up with the initiative to form the team to keep our youths on the right track with sports and mainly to reduce crime in our suburb.
This is our first year to participate in the Port Moresby southern region 9s. Our team is consist of 17 youths 3 officials (former senior players).
Our team have been raising funds to meet our registration fee and also make enough funds to hire a sports jersey for us to use, however, our progress is very slow in meeting our targets to purchase jerseys.
To purchase a full set jersey will cost us K4500.00 which is (AUD $1649.00). With 80% of our team unemployed and come from unfortunate living standards (povety).
I write on behalf of our team seeking assistance in a jersey donation.
We dont know how to go about this, but we kindly seek your assistance in direction for a jersey kit donor to help assist our team.
