Hi guys i want another 2-4 people to come to the Rylstone retreat next weekend of March 21st & 22nd 2026. Andy Fackrell a friend of mine who is a successful painter wants to paint a series in my bush ring which may end up in Archibald and help shine light on Bourke Talent-id for Indigenous project. This one is totally free you only have to get there and i have accommodation enough so everybody can spread out. People will need to leave Friday after work . I will go early Friday so can get a fire going and can take one person if you don’t mind sharing with Jack & Ronda. We will have breakfasts at the property and have trail mixes or the like for lunches but saturday nite will go into Rylstone for dinner and drinks. no alcohol at property please 🙏 it’s a busy weekend to fit everything in. 🦘🐨🦜🦅🗻 please let me know ASAP if you’re in. Car pooling is a great idea.
We are planning to do our first Black Shirt promotion in the bush and there will be some boxing training but lots of other activities such as bushwalking, rock scrambling, archery, koala spotting, aboriginal cave drawings and lots more.
Besides toiletries please bring a torch if you have and a sleeping bag or blanket if you can. There is spares of everything so don’t panic if you don’t have. Food will be pretty basic bacon and eggs etc so if your diet is special best you bring your own food and probably a big bottle of water.
We will meet at the Globe pub in Rylstone Friday night around 9pm and drive out to my property in convoy as it will be very dark. My track is a little rough in places but most cars should make it easy. If you are precious about your car being scratched or anything maybe hitch a ride instead. The camp will finish around 10.30am Sunday to give plenty of time to get back to Sydney but people are welcome to stay on longer if they wish.
